They Provide the Vision

You don’t need to spend $800+ at a camera store before your student can start.

We provide a professional Canon Rebel T7 DSLR and Lens for every student to use during class.

What’s Included:

Professional DSLR Body, Lens & Tripod:   Use of our studio gear for every session.

Memory Card: Every student gets a high-speed card to keep. This becomes their "growing digital portfolio."

The Gallery Print: Every 4-week block ends with a professional 8x10 exhibition-grade print. Your student will complete each month with a physical artwork, building a tangible portfolio of their growth.

Small Ratio: Only 5 students per session for maximum hands-on instruction.

The 4-Week Roadmap

Why the 5-Student Model?

I limit these workshops to only five students because a creative trade is best learned in a tight-knit circle.

This ensures a 1:1 gear ratio—your student has a professional Canon T7 in their hands for the full 60 minutes.

Instruction led by an IVP Fingerprint Cleared professional, ensuring a safe and secure environment for every creator.

I am a photographer and, most importantly, a mother raising three future founders. I have always believed that children are naturally creative, seeing the world with a sense of wonder that adults often miss.

However, as I watched my own three children explore their interests, I realized that imagination alone isn't enough—students need the technical tools to turn that "spark" into a lifelong, tangible skill.

I am the kind of educator who constantly ties core academic subjects into everyday life. Whether we are in the field or at the kitchen table, I am always looking for ways to explain complex "grown-up" concepts—like optical physics, manual mechanics, and visual rhetoric—in a way that resonates with a young creator.

Restoring the Creative Trade

I started The Olive Seed Studio because I believe every child should master a specialized technical art. While society often overlooks the "creative trades," I see them as the ultimate training ground for collaborative problem-solving and leadership.

I am IVP Fingerprint Cleared and dedicated to providing a high-standard, safe, and professional learning environment for every student.
